Overview
Medical Social Worker — Travel assignment in Lawrenceville, GA, starting 10/19/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay $1,815–$1,839 per week, with guaranteed 40 hours. Responsibilities
- Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop discharge planning for patients and families
- Coordinate with the medical team and community resources to facilitate safe and timely discharge
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed; support coping strategies for patients and families
- Document assessments, plans of care, and progress notes in the medical record in a timely, compliant manner
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and care coordination within an acute hospital setting
- Fulfill holiday coverage requirements: must work two major holidays and one minor holiday as per unit expectations

Requirements
- Active Georgia Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience in medical social work; acute hospital experience preferred
- Ability to work in an acute hospital environment; 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday
- Note: No local candidates within 50 miles
- Travel assignment readiness for a 13-week temporary position
