\nOur client seeks a DevSecOps Configuration Management Specialist to provide functional and empirical analysis related to software configuration management plans and procedures. The role is on-site at APG with a 4x10 schedule with Fridays off. The specialist will support configuration control, quality assurance, software release processes, and process improvement within DEVSECOPS and Agile environments.\n

Due to federal security clearance requirements, the applicant must be a United States Citizen with an active Secret clearance. This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. Responsibilities \n
\n - Provide functional and empirical analysis related to software configuration management plans and procedures.
\n - Write Configuration Management (CM) Plans and audit software change procedures, software development, software testing, and software documentation to verify compliance with software CM plans and procedures.
\n - Participate in design reviews, configuration audits, and evaluations of software products to ensure proper identification, control, and status accounting of the software baseline for each system.
\n - Work on code management, audits, baseline identification, and preparation and control of documentation for software projects.
\n - Utilize Configuration Management tools and scripting including JIRA, Puppet, Confluence, and GitHub.
\n - Implement Configuration Management processes in DEVSECOPS and Agile development environments.
\n - Serve as a Configuration Manager (CM) and Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist.
\n - Establish and assist in implementing CM, QA, and software license management processes.
\n - Lead and support Configuration Control Boards (CCB) and Engineering Review Boards (ERB).
\n - Collaborate with Project Lead, Technical Leads, and Domain Team Leads on resource management planning meetings.
\n - Maintain configuration control of SOP and other branch or organizational documentation for standardization.
\n - Implement CM processes in DEVSECOPS, Agile, and CI/CD environments using CM tools.
\n - Establish and maintain procedures to initiate, record, review, approve, and track baseline modification requests.
\n - Maintain a configuration management library or repository for baseline products.
\n - Support software release processes and CM tooling.
\n - Support innovation and process improvement efforts.
\n - Review and interpret command policies and guidelines for data and system security including DISA STIGs in support of IAVA and full releases.
\n - Conduct QA assessments on internal and external products to ensure stakeholder needs are met.
\n - Conduct After Action Reviews and develop After Action Reports for scheduled and rapid electronic warfare events.
\n - Capture, document, and incorporate Lessons Learned into organizational processes.
\n - Perform other CM and QA tasks as directed by the CM Team Lead.

Experience Requirements \n
\n - Experience writing CM Plans and auditing software change procedures, development, testing, and documentation for CM compliance.
\n - Experience with design reviews, configuration audits, and software baseline management.
\n - Hands-on experience with code management, audits, baseline identification, and documentation control.
\n - Proficiency with CM tools such as JIRA, Puppet, Confluence, and GitHub, including scripting.
\n - Experience implementing CM processes in DEVSECOPS, Agile, and CI/CD environments.
\n - Experience serving in CM and QA roles and leading or supporting CCB and ERB.
\n - Experience with software license management processes.
\n - Familiarity with software release processes and CM tooling.
\n - Knowledge of DISA STIGs and support to IAVA and release activities.
\n - Two years of relevant experience within the last four years.

Education Requirements \n
\n - Bachelor's degree is a nice-to-have.
\n - Active Secret clearance required.
